Montenegro canceled all restrictions for tourists from Russia

Montenegrin cancels all restrictions on visiting the country for citizens of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and North Macedonia. This was announced on Twitter by the head of the Ministry of Finance of the country Miloenko Spaya.

"We are pleased to inform you that for visiting Montenegro in the tourist season 2021, for citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine and North Macedonia, all restrictive measures will be removed, including PCR testing," he wrote in Russian.

At the end of March, the Montenegro government reported that he was discussing a plan to remove restrictions and resuming foreign tourism in the summer of 2021, Interfax reports.

Until now, foreigners need to present one of three documents when entering the country: a certificate with a negative result of the PCR test for coronavirus made no earlier than 72 hours before the border crossing, a certificate with a positive IGG analysis or a certificate of a full vaccination course from coronavirus, including the Russian Vaccine Vacor V.

In early April, Montenegro extended for Russians until October 31 a visa -free entry for up to 90 days.
