More than 30 participants in a picket against fascism were detained in St. Petersburg

About 15 participants in a picket against fascism were detained in Victory Park in St. Petersburg. This was reported to OVD-Info by a liberal activist who wished to remain anonymous.

The young people were taken to the 33rd police department of the Moskovsky district of St. Petersburg. At the moment there is no contact with them, their names are also unknown.

“We were going to picket against fascism, you know what day it is today (Hitler’s birthday -). They didn’t do anything, they were just waiting for others, they wanted to unfurl the poster, and then a paddy wagon with riot police arrived, blocked the road and then turned everyone around,” said the man who managed to avoid arrest.
