In Vladimir, a participant in a gathering near the colony in Pokrov was detained

In Vladimir, Ilya Kosygin, a participant in the gathering at IK-2 in Pokrov that took place on April 6, was detained. He is being taken to the Petushinsky District Department of Internal Affairs. This is reported by “Apology of Protest”.

Human rights activists add that two other participants in the gathering were summoned to the police today.

On April 22, a report was drawn up against Kosygin under the article of violating public order in the territory adjacent to the colony (Part 3 of Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), and he was kept at the police department overnight until the trial.

• Previously, two participants in the gathering, Natalya Davydova and her mother, were brought to administrative responsibility under the article on the mass presence of citizens near the institution for executing sentences associated with deprivation of liberty (Part 3 of Article 20.2.2 of the Administrative Code). Following the action, they were assigned mandatory work: 40 and 20 hours.
• On April 6, near the colony where Navalny is serving his sentence, at least seven people who came to support the politician were detained . Among those detained are doctors, members of the Doctors' Alliance trade union and journalists. Four protesters were kept in police stations until trial and then subjected to administrative arrest.
• Politician Alexei Navalny went on a hunger strike in the colony on March 31 - he demands that a doctor be allowed in and given the medicine he needs. The oppositionist’s treating doctors recently received the results of his tests and stated that he was in critical condition and that his heart could fail at any moment. Navalny’s associates announced an all-Russian rally in support of the politician on April 21.
• Alexei Navalny was taken into custody after returning to Russia - the court replaced his suspended sentence with a real one in the Yves Rocher case. According to the court decision, he will spend two and a half years in prison. The politicianwas transferred to correctional colony No. 2 in the Vladimir region. There, the politician’s health deteriorated - he began to have back pain and problems with his leg.
