In Yekaterinburg, searches were carried out at the coordinator of Navalny's local headquarters Alexey Gresko and volunteer Yegor Vasilchenko as part of a criminal case under the article on calls for mass riots (Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code). Employees came to the apartment at Vasilchenko’s registration address, where his parents live. Gresko was also not found at home; a search of his apartment was carried out in the presence of the activist’s wife.

Earlier, security forces conducted a search in the half-empty headquarters premises.

In January, Alexey Gresko was arrested for 10 days under the article on calls for an uncoordinated action (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code) in connection with the action on January 23. While serving the arrest, employees of the Moscow line department of Vnukovo flew from Moscow to Yekaterinburg to draw up a report on Gresko under the article of failure to comply with the requirements of a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code) on January 17 at Vnukovo airport, where Alexey Navalny was supposed to arrive. According to human rights activists, Gresko actually met not a politician at the airport, but his son.
Alexei Navalny was taken into custody after returning to Russia - the court replaced his suspended sentence with a real one in the Yves Rocher case. According to the court decision, he will spend two and a half years in prison. The politicianwas transferred to correctional colony No. 2 in the Vladimir region. There, the politician’s health deteriorated - he began to have back pain and problems with his leg.
