The frontman of the Bay City Rollers group died Forest McCuen

Former soloist of the Scottish pop group Bay City Rollers Forest McCuan died at the age of 65, reports BBC with reference to the musician’s family.

“Leslie died suddenly in his house on Tuesday, April 20,” the musician said in a statement on Twitter.

• The Bay City Rollers group was created in the 1960s and gained fame in the 1970s. Its most popular compositions are “BYE BYE BABY” and “Give A Little Love” . Both songs were released in 1975 and headed the British chart.
• The team had many fans among young people. Bay City Rollers called the most successful British group since The Beatles, but already in the late 1970s the popularity of the team was declining. It broke up in the 1980s.
• McCuen Forest was a vocalist of Bay City Rollers in 1973-1978.
