Alexei Navalny stopped his hunger strike, which he began on March 31 while in correctional colony No. 2 in Pokrov. The politician wrote about this on Instagram.
The report says that Navalny was examined twice by a council of civilian doctors: “The last time was right before the rally. They do research and analysis and give me the results and conclusions.”

“The doctors, whom I completely trust, released a statement yesterday saying that you and I have achieved enough for me to end my hunger strike,” the post notes.
Navalny thanked everyone for their support and emphasized that he did not want anyone else to suffer because of his condition: other activists, for example, the chairmen of the Mothers of Beslan, began to go on hunger strike with him as a sign of solidarity.
At the same time, the politician emphasized that he does not remove the requirement to allow the necessary doctor to see him: “I am losing sensitivity in parts of my arms and legs, and I want to understand what it is and how to treat it.”
