Opposition politician Alexander Solovyov was detained in Moscow. “Human Rights Postcards” writes about this.

Solovyov was detained near his house under threat of force and taken to the Mitino police station. Previously, he was given a summons stating that Soloviev must come to draw up a protocol on the repeated violation of the rules of the rally (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).

The reason for drawing up the protocol, according to him, was probably a joke on Twitter about “the only astronautics that is developing in Russia” - the Russian Guard. He attached to the post a photo of security forces from the rally on April 21, which, according to the police, proves the politician’s participation in the rally.

7:25 The detainee was released from the police department at about 2 a.m. with a report under an article that does not provide for arrest. Soloviev reported this on his Telegram channel.

“Someone probably just screwed up and thought that they could give the 8th part of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, under which you can get 30 days at once. But it requires recent repeated violations. As a result, I had to be discharged under the article without arrest, with a fine,” writes the politician.

Apparently, Solovyov was released with a report on violation of the rules of participation in the action (Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). Still, no case was brought against him for a humorous tweet about “cosmonauts.”
