The Moscow City Court softened the preventive measure of DOXA editors

The Moscow City Court considered the appeal of the protection against the measure of restraint in the form of a ban on certain actions against the editor of DOXA Armen Araman. This was reported by the telegram channel of the publication itself.

The measure of restraint was softened: “The lawyer of the Agora Leonid Solovyov says that the walks were allowed from 8:00 to 10:00, and the press service, which from 8:00 to 22:00. We are waiting for the court decision, ”the representatives of DOXA write.

At the same time, until the end of April, Aramaman was appointed interrogations in the UK, starting at 10:00.

On April 16, a lawyer from the OVD-Info Dmitry Pravtov, representing the interests of another DOXA editor Alla Gutnikova, as well as the head of the Agora international human rights group Pavel Chikov, said that four DOXA journalists, persecuted due to Navalny's shares, presented more than 100 summons for interrogations.

• On the morning of April 14, four journalists of the DOXA student publication were searches. The searches were held in the houses of Armen Araman, Alla Gutnikova, Vladimir Metelkin and Natalia Tyshkevich. After that, they were taken for interrogations to the UK, and then to the court for a meeting to choose a preventive measure: all four were appointed a ban on certain actions with strict restrictions.
• Journalists are accused of involving minors in dangerous actions for them (Article 151.2 of the Criminal Code). The criminal case was opened because of the DOXA video, in which the participants in the publication turned to students-they called not to be afraid of threats to deductions for participating in rallies. Subsequently, the editorial office of the magazine deleted this video at the request of Roskomnadzor. In the same case, the head of the headquarters of Alexei Navalny Leonid Volkov: according to investigators, after Volkov published the video “How to get Navalny out of prison”, DOXA employees against the backdrop of active discussions in social networks arose “to maintain the above calls and create our own publications”.
