The court dismissed the case of the chairman of the Novgorod Yabloko, Anna Cherepanova, about a post on VKontakte, which she posted on the eve of a rally in memory of Boris Nemtsov on February 27. About it writes "MBH Media".
The police regarded the post about the uncoordinated rally as a call to participate in it, that is, the organization of an uncoordinated event (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), but the Novgorod District Court of the Novgorod Region did not agree with this. Cherepanova links the case to the upcoming elections and her speech in the Novgorod Regional Duma with criticism of the actions of Governor Andrei Nikitin and the regional government.
