The FSB opened a case against a Muscovite for calling in a telegram for the “destruction” of police officers

The FSB directorate for the Kurgan region opened a case against a 47-year-old Moscow resident on calls for extremism because of his comment in a telegram (Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code). reported this TASS and URA.ru in the press service of the department.

According to investigators, the man “during a discussion of news from the Kurgan region on the Telegram channel, left an entry in which he tried to induce subscribers to physically kill police officers.”

After his arrest, he admitted guilt, the FSB noted.

Whether the man was the author of the channel or one of the subscribers who discussed the post in the comments does not appear from the press release. It is also not mentioned whether a preventive measure was chosen for him.
