The Tambov Regional Court upheld two fines of 510 thousand rubles to 60-year-old Afghan war veteran Oleg Bondarev for a protest rally on January 23. He himself told 7x7 about this.
On January 30, Bondarev received a fine of 250 thousand rubles for participating in the rally. On March 1, he was fined another 260 thousand rubles for reposting on VKontakte announcing the action on January 23. In both cases, the pensioner was found guilty of repeated violation of the legislation on rallies (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
“They will soon block my accounts. I don’t even know how to live,” Bondarev told Taiga.info. He added that he lives with his 80-year-old mother, who cannot walk. His only source of income is a pension of 22 thousand rubles.
