Ukraine included Morgenstern in the list of persons threatening national security

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine has included the rapper Morgenstern (Alisher Valeev) on the list of persons threatening national security.

Morgenstern was added to the list at the request of the Security Service of Ukraine. The reasons for this decision are not specified.

After being included in the list, Morgenstern will not be able to visit Ukraine.

• The list of Russian cultural figures who threaten the national security of Ukraine has been maintained by Kiev since 2015.
• Among the people on the list are actors Ivan Okhlobystin, Mikhail Boyarsky and Mikhail Porechenkov, singers Nikolai Rastorguev, Grigory Leps and Oleg Gazmanov, singers Natasha Koroleva and Lolita Milyavskaya. Most of them either performed in Crimea after its annexation to Russia, or publicly supported the policy of the Russian Federation towards Ukraine.
