A 56-year-old Novosibirsk resident died from coronavirus

More than 41,000 Novosibirsk residents have been infected with the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic. During the day, four patients died.

“Four more patients have died: men aged 56 and 74, as well as women aged 70 and 76. In total, 1,750 people died from coronavirus in the region, ”the operational headquarters of the Novosibirsk Region reported on April 29.

Another 56 patients are in intensive care. Eleven people remain on ventilators.

74 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed per day. The total number of cases reached 41,030, 37,741 people were discharged.

1,227 patients, including six children, were hospitalized in infectious diseases hospitals of the region with a diagnosis of COVID-19 and with suspicion of it.

The real death rate from coronavirus in the region, as Taiga.info wrote , is much higher. Only from April 2020 to March 2021, according to Rosstat, 3649 patients with COVID-19 died, of which 2742 were directly from the coronavirus.
