On April 29, the acting rector of NSU Sergey Golushko signed an order on the regime of work and rest during the May holidays for employees and students of the university.

The university’s leadership defined days from May 4 to 7 as “non -working people while maintaining wages for workers”.

NSU students will rest only 1.2.9 and 10. From May 3 to 8, they will study in the form of “contact and independent work”. The document does not specify what is meant by these formulations.

“The deans of the faculties, the director of institutions, the Higher College of Informatics and the specialized educational and scientific center of the NSU have the right to organize the classes provided for by the schedule and the interim certification in the form of contact work outside the educational premises using distance technologies,” the order said.
