Khoroshevsky court in Mosk recognized the inclusion of human rights activist Leo Ponomarev in the list of media-foreign agents, RIA Novosti said .
Ponomarev demanded that his inclusion in the register of media that perform the functions of a foreign agent be recognized as unlawful. North Reali failed to get an operational commentary of the human rights activist.
The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation included five people in the register of "foreign media performing the functions of a foreign agent." Human rights activist Lev Ponomarev, activist Daria Apakhonchich, editor -in -chief of the Pskov province, Denis Kamalyagin, collaborating with Radio Liberty, journalists Lyudmila Savitskaya and Sergey Markelov fell into the register.
All included in the register filed claims against the Ministry of Justice, in which they appealed the decision of the department. For Savitskaya and Markelov, the status was suspended. The court refused Kamalyagin the court. Later, the court recognized the inclusion of Sergei Markelov legally in the list of foreign agents.
According to the law, “media - a foreign agent”, an individual who distributes the materials of the publication or legal entity recognized by a foreign agent, participates in their creation and receives foreign financing. The Ministry of Justice did not explain on what grounds he included five people in the register.
