
The French weekly Le Magazine du Monde (Le Monde magazine) devoted a new release of the history of adolescents from Siberian Kansk, detained in 2020. Benois Vitkina’s big report went out under the heading “Generation of Navalny: youth and rebellion in Siberia under Putin”. On the cover of the room is the brother of one of the defendants in the case, hanging on the bar in the middle of the wasteland.
The journalist really writes about this: “Teenagers against adults. Lost hole against the connected generation. " Vitkin talked with relatives of teenagers and lawyer Vladimir Vasin, and also told French readers about the city of Kansk. He entitled one of the parts of the report with the words "abandoned factories and charred houses." Vitkin mentions that for a year, as throughout the Krasnoyarsk Territory, “spreads the epidemic of“ school terrorism ”: dozens of adolescents have been detained on suspicion of preparing terrorist attacks.
The detention of three schoolchildren from Kansk became known in June 2020. The investigation believes that adolescents allegedly prepared explosions in the Kansky departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB, for which they read special articles, watched videos, and also threw a bottle of incendiary mixture in an abandoned building on a wasteland. In the spring, the Investigative Committee terminated the case of the organization of the terrorist community against adolescents (Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code) due to the lack of three crime in the actions of all three corpus delicti. At the same time, the UK in the Krasnoyarsk Territory said that four episodes of manufacturing were added to the case against three teenagers from Kansk (part 2 of article 223.1 of the Criminal Code) and three episodes of storage (part 2 of article 222.1 of the Criminal Code) of explosives. In early May, one of the defendants in the case, Nikita Uvarov, was released from the pre -trial detention center, while another teenager remains in the isolator and another under house arrest.
