According to State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, deputies are ready to discuss the idea of a ban on anonymity on the Internet to combat propaganda of violence and extremism. He made such a statement after the shooting at the Kazan school.
“There are proposals to get away from anonymity on the Internet, which, according to supporters of this idea, will make it possible to significantly reduce the volume of content that promotes violence and glorifies extremism. It is necessary to discuss,” Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel.
The speaker added that after the tragedy in Kazan, it is also necessary to put things in order with the issuance of certificates that give citizens the right to buy weapons. According to him, doctors should be held responsible for fictitious documents.
