The network of children's cafes "AnderSon" is testing a mini-format "On the Run" - it offers drinks to go and ready-made meals "to go", writes Forbes.
The first institution "On the Run" opened in the shopping center "Gallery Airport" in Moscow. The point occupies only 10 square meters. m, but in its assortment - pastries, desserts, hot and cold drinks, ready-made meals "to go" and frozen products for cooking at home (dumplings, cheesecakes, dumplings). AnderSon founder Anastasia Tatulova hopes that by the end of 2022 AnderSon will open 20 mini-formats in shopping and office centers.
Investments in the opened institution amounted to about 3 million rubles, and these are the funds of the franchisee.
Cafe mini-formats should help offset the network's pandemic losses - in 2020, AnderSon was forced to close 12 out of 50 outlets. According to Mikhail Burmistrov, General Director of Infoline-Analytics, a compact format, especially with a focus on the sale of ready-made cooking, is now close to the buyer. The analyst recalls that the VkusVill chain is testing the format of a food truck and a stall, and Magnit is testing a kiosk.
A heartfelt speech at a meeting with Vladimir Putin a year ago made the co-owner of the AnderSon cafe chain Anastasia Tatulova a people's favorite. In a column for The Bell, she told how small businesses survived the pandemic and why they need a dialogue with the authorities.
