Evgeny Roizman left the special receiver

The former mayor of Yekaterinburg, Yevgeny Roizman, was released from a special receiver, where he was serving administrative arrest for organizing two inconsistent shares in support of oppositionist Alexei Navalny, Interfax reports.

As Roizman told reporters after leaving the special receiver, he was surprised at the court decision and does not know why he was released.

According to the politician, activists remained in the special reception who sit for nothing, for example, supporters of opposition Alexei Navalny Irina Norman and Alexei Gresko. “Once I was so lucky, somehow awkward even in front of people, but there are things that do not depend on me,” Roizman said.

According to him, in a day he managed to get enough sleep, take the camera and read. Tomorrow he is going to conduct a traditional reception of citizens.

"The attitude is normal, friendly. Even to the political. I managed to read the book of Genesis. I just started reading the book of the outcome - they came for me. According to my feelings, everything is just beginning. Let me go, tomorrow, if anything, I will be at the reception," he said.

Earlier on Thursday, the Sverdlovsk Regional Court reduced the deadlines for the arrest in two cases under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for the organization of unauthorized shares in support of the opposition Alexei Navalny. Appeal complaints were filed by lawyers of the Belian and Partners Bureau, as well as the defender of Roizman Julia Fedotova.
