In Moscow, at the Voikovskaya metro station, Alexander Rimov, a participant in a virtual rally on Yandex.Maps against the new law on educational activities, was detained. He himself told OVD-Info about this.

The young man has already been released. He was walking on the subway with his girlfriend when the police approached him and asked him to go with them to the line department, and then to the police department in the Voikovsky district. There, the police had a preventative conversation with Rimov about his “undesirable blogging activities.”

“On May 9 we had a cyber action in the form of a virtual rally on Red Square. We checked in on Yandex.Maps and Yandex.Navigator using talkers. All this was dedicated to putting pressure on educational activities and the detention of academician Efim Khazanov . We stated that our grandfathers defended freedom and gave us life, and our function is to protect this freedom,” Rimov told OVD-Info.

In addition, during the conversation, the policeman mentioned Rimov’s recent post on Instagram, in which he compared gymnasium No. 175 in Kazan, where a former student of the school had recently committed a shooting , and the school where Putin’s daughters studied, noting that in Kazan There was only one security guard at the school.

After the conversation, Rimov was given a warning and then released.
