The court left the person involved in the “palace case” in pre-trial detention until October 30

The Meshchansky District Court extended until October 30 the period of detention in a pre-trial detention center for member of the PEC Roman Pichuzhin, accused of using violence against a National Guard member (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code) at the rally on January 31. This was reported by lawyer from OVD-Info Dmitry Zakhvatov.

Also on May 14, the first hearing in the case was supposed to take place, but it was postponed due to the fact that the defendant was not properly notified of the time of the trial.

On March 3, the court sent the PEC member to a pre-trial detention center, and on April 5 extended his preventive measure until May 21. Pichuzhin is in pre-trial detention center No. 3 in Moscow.

Police detained a member of the PEC on March 2 after leaving a special detention center, where he was serving 30 days of administrative arrest under the article on repeated violation of rally legislation (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
