A student from Cheboksary was fined for reposting from a feminist blog

The Leninsky District Court of Cheboksary fined Marina Pralkova 10,000 rubles under the article on inciting hatred or enmity (Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This was reported by the Information and Analytical Center "Sova".

The reason was the repost of the text of the radical feminist Lyubov Kalugina from the public “Lamp Conversations” on VKontakte, made in 2015. The author of the publication discussed how modern women perceive themselves as feminists and why, in her opinion, men are a threat. The prosecutor's office decided that the text contained "signs of inciting hostility and hatred towards men."

According to the case file, the decision to initiate was made on April 2, 2021, and the law enforcement officer discovered the post from 2015 in November 2020. Perhaps the pressure is due to the fact that Pralkova is engaged in opposition activism, and is also a voting member of the election commission.
