Activist Daria Polyudov was the first in Russia to be convicted of an article on calls for separatism. After two years in the colony, she moved from Novorossiysk to Moscow and created a new left movement. At the beginning of 2020, Polyudova was again in custody - she was accused the second time under the same “separatist” article. There are also two episodes of excuses for terrorism: because of the post of Chechen field commander Shamila Basayev and a video about the FSB building on Lubyanka Evgenia Manyurov. Daria Polyudova was born in Uzbekistan, in adolescence, and her family moved to Bashkiria.

“In Bashkiria, there were Buranes in winter,” recalls Tatyana, the mother of the activist. - She will go to the stop to go to music. I say "daughter, maybe you will not go." She says "no, I'll go." Standing, freezes. Such she has been stubborn and persistent since childhood. Never lies. Sometimes you have to keep silent, not say something personal. No, she will put everything out in spirit. ”

In the ninth grade, Polyudova went already in the village of Poltava Krasnodar Territory. After school, she entered the Krasnodar University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for criminal law - she studied at the investigator, says her mother. The choice of the university was accidental, on the advice of a neighbor who had already studied there.

The turning point in Daria’s life occurred after the third year, her mother was sure: the girl joined the Communist Party, she began to detain her for actions, and the dean threatened to expel the opposition activity.

“Then she looks, in the Communist Party what is happening. The posters began to write against the development of the grove. How went and went, ”Tatyana recalls. Then Polyudova became a participant in the movement “Left Front” and the unregistered party “Rot-Front”. She went out with single pickets in support of Pussy Riot and arrested in the “swamp business”.

Prisoner with "low social status"

In the summer of 2014, Polyudova became the first in Russia the accused in - she was going to hold a "march for the federalization of the Kuban."

The activist said that the procession was planned as “trolling” by the authorities against the backdrop of rhetoric about “federalization of Ukraine”. Only a few people entered the Kuban march.

The opposition was sentenced to two years in prison. She independently came to the gates of the penal colony in Novorossiysk. When Tatyana for the first time came to her daughter on a date, she was “led everywhere”: they showed a library, a dining room, a prayer room.

“Dasha then just entered there, she still hasn’t taken them by the scruff,” the woman says. - Then I arrived a second time. All. They showed only the road to the toilet. The head of the colony was told by "Tatyana Fedorovna, well, what kind of daughter you have, we are already following so that no one would offend her. Everything is wrong for her." They could not wait for the deadline to end. ”

Human rights activists came to Polyudova’s colony, among them there was also the lawyer of the fund Irina Biryukova. The prisoner “sat restlessly” because of conflicts with cellmates and constantly wanted to appeal the conditions in the colony, she recalls.

“I explained to her that some orders cannot be challenged because they are established by law, and even if I complain, there will be no sense. For example, convicts know that in the colony there should be hot and cold water. Why can't they wash every day? Because there is a bath day. They are not allowed to read these rules, ”says the lawyer.

Polyudova complained about conflicts with other prisoners, the human rights activist says: one of the cellmates allegedly threatened her to lower her head into the toilet. When the girl told about this employee of the FSIN, she replied that "Polyudova called for a revolution and convicted of political articles, therefore, by social position in the colony is below the rest of the convicts." As a result, the opposition was transferred to another camera.

Polyudova was unhappy that after the conflict she was forbidden to dye her hair and collect hot water in the kitchen for hygiene procedures - the rest of the prisoners were allowed to do this. In the colony, she announced a hunger strike and accused the administration of inaction after her salary was stolen.

Left resistance

In October 2017, Daria Polyudova was released . “We met her at the colony, only drove to Novorossiysk, she says“ stop the car, I’ll buy a poster and the felt -tip pens, I will write, you take a picture of me, ”Tatyana Polyudova recalls.

After moving to Moscow, the Kuban activist continued to engage in activism. “Having passed through the colony, she concluded that there was nothing to change in the regions, the people are sleepy, and in Moscow a movement,” said Polyudova’s friend, Krasnodar oppositionist Viktor Chirikov.

Tatyana Polyudova adds that the girl went to the capital to Sergey Udaltsov, the coordinator of the Left Front movement. “I distributed leaflets and participated with them in all actions. Then she did not like something-she did not like Udaltsov, nor Navalny-and she decided to do her “left front”, ”says the activist’s mother.

Polyudova organized the movement “Left Resistance” in Moscow. Its main group on VKontakte was blocked by Roskomnadzor, 234 people were signed on a new public.

The movement "opens against the oppressors-capitalists for all oppressed, for the power of the workers." The opposition friend Kirill Kotov said that there were five people in the “left resistance”.

According to Kotov, Polyudova wrote a program for replacing "wild capitalism by socialism through the proletarian revolution." The activist complains that “it was not possible to make a lot from the program,” since they had too few associates. “When she arrived in Moscow, several people got into the team, but quarreled, and they fled from her. She opposed me due to the fact that I am a supporter of the Soviet regime, ”the comrade the accused recalls.

Polyudova is convinced that the Communist Party perverted the Lenin Way, adds Krasnodar activist Viktor Chirikov.

“She believed that the time would come, the flame would flare up from the spark, people would stop to endure and will be mass. She did not understand that her activity did not bear fruit. She thought the whole world was mistaken. That she, like Jesus Christ, carries the truth. I argued with her, proved. Partly, I think, made a social democrat from it. She has a bright image of communism - that people should overcome evil inside themselves and be kind and peaceful, ”he says.

In Moscow, Polyudova handed out leaflets of the clothing and shoes store at the Lermontovsky Prospekt and Teply Stan metro. Together with Kotov, they arranged single pickets in support of political prisoners, against the war in Syria and for the return of Crimea to Ukraine. In addition to the work and protest activity of Polyudov, she did not do anything, says Kotov. Polyudova is a “convinced feminist”, the activist adds and recalls how she once gave him the book of Clara Zetkin and Alexandra Kollontai.

Mother was worried all the time that Polyudova had no guy, Kotov says. “Dasha said that she did not need no one. Only comrades in the revolutionary struggle. She sewed everyone. Maybe there were fans, but how they found out what she did, merged. I even knew one of this personally, ”he claims. Kotov remembered that the opposition was in love with the left activist from Moscow, but "could not achieve him."

New accusations

For several months before the arrest, Daria Polyudova lived in the hostel near the Baumanskaya metro. In January 2020, security officials came there with a search . The activist was accused of violating the territorial integrity of Russia and.

Polyudov’s pursuit under the article on the justification of terrorism began due to repost on VKontakte. The opposition lawyer Leonid Soloviev explained that it is impossible to institute criminal proceedings in Russia now for repost, so Polyudova, published in two weeks, had to add another post.

In January 2019, she replaced the record with a photograph of the Chechen field commander Shamil Basayev, the organizer of several terrorist attacks, including the captures of the hospital in Budennovsk in 1995, hostages at the Dubrovka Theater and School in Beslan.

The author of the publication Andrei Romanov claimed that the Urals and the other republics, who will further separate from Russia, need such personalities as the Chechen field commanders were. The user called Shamil Basayev, as well as the former presidents of Chechnya, Johar Dudaev and Aslan Maskhadov, "the great sons of the Chechen people." The post said that "the Urals can do military equipment" and "in the future it should learn and fight against it against the Muscovites - defending his independence."

Soon Polyudova published a post with an explanation of her political views. “Many people ask me why I am“ for the decay of Russia ”. Here, I answer. Take the countries of Europe, they are very small, but united in the European Union. Yes, they are also capitalist, but they live much better than each region of Russia, ”the activist wrote. Polyudova added that Vladimir Lenin and Karl Marx were against the annexius and advised to re -read their labors. “You, speaking with your United Russia, speak on the side of the current government, and not the people who have been under the Putin yoke for several years, under the opposition of Putin's fascism,” the oppositionist said. A new accusation of Polyudova was charged in the fall of 2020, when she was already in the pre-trial detention center-6 “printers”. Investigators found a video in her phone, shot on the day of the attack of Yevgeny Manyurov on the main building of the FSB on Lubyanka.

According to the official version, 39-year-old Yevgeny Manyurov from Podolsk shot an FSB officer and wounded five more, including one civilian. Later, one of the wounded security forces died. The attacker himself was killed.

At the same time, the case of the attack was not aroused: on the contrary, the message of the Moscow Agency with reference to the Center for Public Relations of the FSB that “special services qualify this incident as a terrorist attack” was removed from the site.

SK opened a criminal case under Article 317 of the Criminal Code - an encroachment on the life of law enforcement officials.

As stated in the indictment, standing in the square nearby, Polyudova, under other passers -by, called the actions of Evgeny Manyurov correctly. The investigation claims that Polyudov said “well, unfortunately, everyone didn’t shoot Ephesus” and “well, we want the Lubyanka to be completely destroyed in the future.”

The guards of the Children's World and the Nautilus shopping center told the investigation that they saw on the day of shooting in the square “a woman with white hair, talking about their regret that not all FSB officers were killed.”
