The father of the director of the FBK* Ivan Zhdanov, Yuri Zhdanov, retrained the charge for a heavier one. If earlier he was charged with an average gravity of abuse of official powers (part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code), which provides for up to four years in prison, now he was presented with Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud committed by an organized group or on a particularly large scale or entailed the deprivation of a citizen’s right to a dwelling) and Art. 292 Criminal Code (service forgery).

Ivan Zhdanov said on his Instagram that now his 67-year-old father threatens up to 10 years in prison.

According to the director of the FBK*, no new circumstances appeared in the case. “They simply rewrote the same thing (real, word for word), and added the words“ for selfish purposes. ”What selfish goals are and how he received at least some benefit - they don’t write,” Zhdanov said in a post. His father was already charged under a new article, soon the case should be sent to court.

According to the investigation, the “illegal actions” of Yuri Zhdanov were expressed in “violation of the free provision of ... dwelling established by the Constitution of the Russian Federation”, “violation of the principles, basic goals and objectives of housing legislation”, as well as in “undermining and discrediting in the eyes of the population of the urban settlement“ working settlement of seekers ”and, as a whole of the Nenets Autonomous District of the authorities of local authorities, ” the new newspaper" .

Yuri Zhdanov is in the pre-trial detention center of Arkhangelsk. He was detained in Rostov-on-Don on March 26. According to the initial version of the investigation, working in the administration of the village of Seekers in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Zhdanov exceeded the official powers when he recommended that the head of the village allocate an apartment as a local resident under a social hiring agreement as part of the Housing Commission.

Later it turned out that the woman’s family had already received a housing subsidy. The contract was terminated, and the administration returned the apartment by court. Ivan Zhdanov noted that a year ago, an audit on this occasion did not reveal violations, and the head of the village, with an order of which a resident was allocated an apartment, did not become a defendant in a criminal case. According to him, the father did not know that the woman had already received a housing subsidy. In addition, the commission, which included Zhdanov Sr., is an advisory body and cannot make any decisions, but only give recommendations.
