Medvedev allowed the introduction of compulsory vaccination from coronavirus

The Russian authorities today proceed from the voluntary of vaccinations, but sometimes such decisions can be mandatory in the state interests of protecting the vast majority of the population, said Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the Russian Federation.

"The vaccine itself implies a person’s consent to its implementation, that is, in other words, we proceed from the voluntariness of vaccinations. But sometimes in state interests, in the interests of protecting the vast majority of the population, such decisions can also be generally binding. Here the ratio between voluntaryness and obligation can be changed in favor of an obligation," Medvedev said at a plenipotentiary of the St. Petersburg International Legal Legal Legal Legal Law Online forum. He added that this is the issue of "proportionality of values": on the one hand, the values ​​of a separate life, and on the other hand, the protection of the entire population.
