Yandex found a new financial director

The company "Yandex" announced the appointment of the financial director of Svetlana Demyashkevich, which previously held the position of financial director of the X5 Retail Group. For the past four years, she has been the main financial director of the X5 Retail Group, and before arriving in X5, she worked in senior positions at Alfa-Bank, including the head of financial control, reporting on IFRS, was the director of relations with investors and later deputy financial director.

Vadim Marchuk has more than fifteen years of experience in the investment-banking sphere. He came to Yandex in October 2016 and since then played a key role in making all strategic decisions and transactions of the company, as well as in attracting capital and corporate restructuring. Marchuk is the current member of the Board of Directors of the Yandex.Taxi and Yandex Self-Driving Group, and was previously part of the Councils of Directors of Yandex.Markete and Yandex.Deneg. Before arriving in Yandex, he for two years held the position of merger and acquisition in Sberbank CIB, and from 2005 to 2014 he worked in the JP Morgan mergers and acquisitions, where he served as an executive director at the office in New York, and then in London.
