On May 19, around 13:10 local time, three men broke into the editorial office of the Novosibirsk edition of NSS. They began to threaten journalist Ilya Kalinin, swore, pushed and demanded that Svetlana Manina Svetlana Manina’s editors about the owner of the local Italian clothing boutique.

The publication “The Dark Queen of Glossy” talked about the criminal record of the businesswoman for fraud and her multimillion -dollar debts. The article was opened by unknown details of the biography of Manina, who in Novosibirsk is known as a supporter of the president and a person close to the regional government.

A few days before the visit of the “brothers” to the author of the article, Ilya Kalinin, a person who introduced himself as Maxim called from an unknown number. He said that he has an interesting topic that will come in handy for the article. We agreed to meet.

Maxim, having come to the editor, introduced himself as a different name - NISIMI. Two more people came with him: the first Nishimi presented as his “brother”, the second lawyer Alexander Sharin turned out to be the second (he demonstrated his certificate to the journalist).

With Kalinin, all three went into the negotiation room. But instead of discussing an “interesting topic for the article”, they began to find out the attitude with the journalist.

- Nisimi asked: "Why did you write this article about Manin?" - says Kalinin. - And it seemed to me that he did not read the publication. He said: "According to the media code, you must provide the word to the other side." And I had the second side in my article. Plus, everything that I wrote in the text was documented: court decision, correspondence. A mass of documentary evidence. From the very beginning, they began to demand that I delete the article.

The journalist notes that the conversation was in the spirit of Balabanov’s films. “Brother” NISIMI all the time held his hand behind his bosom, as if he had a gun there. When the visitors realized that they did not achieve their goal with words, they decided to use force.

- Nishimi ran to the door, slammed her and began to push me, preventing me from opening the door. Then I shouted: "Call the police." After that, my colleagues came and began to record the video.

On the records made by the employees of the publication, it is clear how Nishimi says Kalinin: "You have already drowned yourself when you wrote an article." Then he begins to offend the family members of the journalist.

- The phrases "I will kill you" was not. But there were words that I perceive as a real threat. For example: "How will you live after that?" Or: "Do you have a daughter, sister?"

Employees of the NGS called the police. But a few minutes before the arrival of the outfit, the men left. Ilya Kalinin wrote to law enforcement agencies a statement on the fact of insults, threats and use of physical force.

The correspondent of the "Novy" called the number from which NISIMI was associated with Kalinin.

- There are no such people here. I don’t know anything about any showdown at all. A man could just take the phone, - the man who picked up the pipe categorically answered.

The NGS suggests that the number from which the journalist called may belong to the company: in the Getkontakt app, this number is indicated as “Masks from Romashov”. It was not possible to get through to Svetlana Manina herself - the woman did not pick up the phone and does not read messages in messengers.

According to Ilya Kalinin, he was not the only one who, after the publication of Svetlana Manina, was pressure.

- People who participated in the publication said that they were called and threatened. There were the same telephone numbers.
