Russia will not resume air traffic with Turkey at least June 15, BloombRG reports with reference to a high -ranking Turkish official. He said that the Turkish authorities could not convince Russian colleagues to cancel the ban on flights.

It is expected that Russians allow to go to Turkey no earlier than mid -June. The question of resuming flights will be raised once again after a new meeting of officials of the two countries. It should take place in Moscow on May 24. Officially, none of the parties has yet commented on this information.

Russia suspended air traffic with Turkey from April 15 to June 1 due to an increase in the incidence of coronavirus in this country. In addition, tour operators were asked not to sell tours with departure and after June 1, until the government allowed to resume flights.
