Lego will release the first LGBTK+ set

It will include 11 multi-colored mini-figures.

The EVERYONE IS AWESOME set (“all beautiful”) will go on sale on June 1, when the month of the pride will begin, writes The Guardian.

The flowers of the original rainbow flag were added pale blue, white and pink, representing a trans-community, as well as black and brown, to emphasize the variety of shades of skin and origin of LGBTK+ people.

In all cases, except for one, the figures were not assigned any particular floor, since they are designed to "express individuality, while remaining ambiguous." The exception is a purple figure with a stylized wig-“A clear hint of delightful drag-jinn,” said designer Matthew Ashton.

Initially, he developed a set for himself. “I moved to the office, so I wanted something in this space that would reflect me and LGBTK+ a community, part of which I proudly be,” Ashton said. According to him, the set attracted attention and soon became in demand.

“Often LGBTK + people do not feel noticed, especially corporations. There is a lot of idle talk and little actions. So it looks like a loud statement. People will look at such a company as Lego - the company they love, and think: “Hey, if it is normal for Lego, then maybe for me too,” said one of the LEGO fans Flynn Demarko.
