
The persecution of Soviet power to the Russian Church was such that it was not to say about their faith, but even silently follow it as a feat. The new martyrs and confessors, glorified in the face of the saints did not come: believed, prayed and meekly went to their Calvarys.

In 1936, 30-year-old Euphrosyne Denisov was arrested by the NKVD bodies with a charge of counter-revolutionary activity. Sentenced to 3 years in prison.
In 1939, she was again convicted of “non -income testimonies on the census”. The verdict is censure (due to the presence of the offended young children). On July 18, 1940, she was arrested and imprisoned in Dankov. Passed "in the group case Akinshin I. T., and others. Lipetsk (Ryazan region) Lebedyansky district, Don-Zabishchensky s/s, 1940" From her testimony in the archival affairs of 1940: “In the party of Jesus Christ, I am from birth, so I left the collective farm 5 or six years ago. I saw godless affairs on the collective farm: they worked on holidays, broke the churches. I left the collective farm by agreement with my husband, and not one. The census did not pass, because I do not want to be written in Soviet books. She did not pay taxes after the arrest of her husband. She did not go to the elections, and did not want to vote, voted for Jesus Christ, for his party, and not for the Antichrist. ”
From the materials of the case: “Husband, Denisov Alexei Stepanovich, was arrested in 1936 (?) And was enclosed in ITL for 5 years for antisocialist activities, the son of Ivan - seven years old - for dependent grandmother.”
During the investigation, she did not sign any protocols of interrogations and other papers, because “this is a sin”, and “he cannot sign and no one trusts anyone,” and the Soviet government is “from the antichrist”.
On September 28, 1940, the Ryazan Regional Court was convicted with the charge under Articles 58-10, part 2; 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR as “an active churchman, a participant in the anti-socialist group of churchmen, carried out counter-revolutionary campaigning, slander on collective farms and collective farmers, and a son brought up in the spirit of counter-revolutionary religious fanaticism.” The verdict is 10 years old.
According to the Orthodox Encyclopedia, it was convicted on October 23, 1940 of the Judicial Collegium in the Ryazan Region, sentenced to 8 years of ITL.
I was serving a sentence in the Karaganda camp of the NKVD (Karlag).
July 11, 1941 was repeatedly arrested in Karlag. Passed in the “group case of N.I. Sundukova, and others. Karlag, 1941”, did not plead guilty, refused to sign the interrogation protocol.
On September 29 of the same year, a permanent session of the Karaganda regional court at the Karlag of the NKVD was convicted under Article 58-10 of Part 2; 58-14 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR “Counterrevolutionary agitation, sabotage” and sentenced to execution.
Shot on January 11, 1942 in Karlag. The burial place is unknown.
