Gazprom will build a second skyscraper in St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg

Gazprom decided to build another skyscraper on the banks of the Gulf of Finland - Lakhta Center 2. The building 703 meters high will be the second in the world in this indicator, after the Burge Halphus.

“The building will become an organic continuation of the modern architectural ensemble, as well as the world leader in the field of technological innovation and green construction. The skyscraper will be the second in height in the world and the absolute record holder in height of the sighting site (590 meters) and the upper operated floor, ”the company said.

The shape of the tower in the form of a spiral, according to the architect of the Tony Kettla project (he also worked on the concept of Lakhta Center), symbolizes inextricable connection with the history and traditions of St. Petersburg - innovation, aspiration to the future. The height of 703 meters was also not chosen by chance - Petersburg was founded in 1703.

The project will be implemented on the principles of project financing, outside the Gazprom investment program, the special forces company notes.
