out of the hospital The security forces are trying to take the hospitalized leader of the Ingush protest Akhmed Pogorov , who was released from the pre-trial detention center the day before and transferred to house arrest. about this writes Fortanga with reference to a relative of Pogorov, his lawyer Magomed Gagiev also reported this on Instagram.
On May 25, the defendant arrived home - an hour after his return, the investigator, who was present at the meeting on the replacement of the measure of restraint, appeared to him. He handed Pogorov a summons for investigative actions scheduled for the morning of May 26.
“This is despite the fact that for the three months that he spent [in the pre-trial detention center], not a single examination, not a single investigative measure was carried out with him ... And the lawyer Gagiev wrote on the same agenda that he would not be physically able to be present with Akhmed ( he needs a lawyer during interrogation),” Pogorov’s relative emphasized in an interview with the publication.
In the morning the defendant became ill, he was hospitalized. The security forces came to the hospital to see him - they said that they had received an order to bring the man for interrogation.
The interlocutor of "Fortanga" drew attention to the deterioration of Pogorov's health - in this state it is dangerous to transport a person somewhere. “He’s really sick, he’s on a drip. Doctors say we will try to leave him here anyway, because he is not transportable. And these [siloviki] say: no, we will take him with an ambulance, ”said a relative of the defendant.
He also suggested that if transported, Pogorov could have a heart attack or a blood clot.
“I understand everything as a human being, but, as they say, “by royal decree,” I was ordered to deliver you,” the publication reports the words of one of the security officials.
On Instagram, Magomed Gagiev noted that he had previously petitioned for the postponement of investigative actions due to the busyness of defense lawyers and the poor health of the defendant. “The actions of law enforcement officers are illegal and pose a threat to the health of my client,” the lawyer emphasized.
Akhmed Pogorov is charged with participation in an extremist community (part 2 of article 282.1 of the Criminal Code) and organization of life-threatening violence against police officers (part 2 of article 318 of the Criminal Code with application of part 3 of article 33). Criminal cases were initiated after protests against the transfer of land from Ingushetia to Chechnya, which Pogorov is considered to be the organizer.
At the same time, according to the "Caucasian Knot", on the eve of four employees of the Russian Guard said that they did not know the accused and did not consider themselves victims in the case of protests against the transfer of land.
“Two immediately stated that they did not consider themselves victims in the present case and they did not know why they were considered victims. All four said that they could not report anything about the organization of the use of violence by our clients ... According to them, they do not know the people who were in the courtroom as defendants, they do not know what they are accused of. Each of them stated that they were not familiar with the materials of this criminal case, because the investigator did not invite any of them for review,” lawyer Magomed Bekov told the Caucasian Knot.
