
The State Duma in the third and final reading adopted a law according to which people involved in the activities of extremist and terrorist organizations will not be able to be elected to elected authorities, the parliamentary press service reports .
It is forbidden to participate in the elections to those who led, consisted or financed organizations that the court recognized as extremist. For managers, the ban on participation in the elections will be five years, for the rest of the involved - three years.
The bill, which is also called the Law Against the FBC , imposes restrictions on those who have publicly supported extremist or terrorist organizations - including the Internet. New rules apply to elections to all authorities.

According to the Media Law , “Paper” is obliged to report that the FBK was recognized as a foreign agent. At the moment, the list of foreign agents includes several publications, activists and human rights activists, as well as a number of well -known NGOs.
