There are several promising approaches to preventing aging. When the experiments go from mice to a person - this is the question

Lucas Cranes Senior "Source of Youth" (1546)
The ancient Greeks considered the blood a synonym for life. Vampires from books and beliefs drink it in order to maintain their existence. For three millennia, humanity attributes blood to the property of prolonging youth, but right now fantasies before our eyes turn into reality. Over the past 20 years, the idea of the elixir of youth made of blood has become a scientific concept: several medical laboratories and biotechnological startups have proven that it can turn backy -age changes in the body of animals and fight senior diseases.
Some of the companies in this new market expect that the “elixir” will be inflicting the plasma of young blood. Others hope that rejuvenation can be achieved using individual proteins, others - that will work “dilution” of blood in order to reduce the concentration of markers associated with age. In parallel, bio -hackers conduct their own experiments: for example, two testers from Russia made plasmapheresis, replacing part of the blood plasma with saline, and reported to improve the indicators associated with the liver, lipid profile and inflammatory processes.
Despite the powerful development in recent years, research on the extension of youth is still too young. We have more data obtained on mice than in public, and experiments are on the verge of permissible and unethical, and it is not yet clear which of the approaches in this matter is better than others. Scientific journalist Eli Dolgin at Knowable Magazine signs these approaches to understand what prospects we have and is it possible to “cancel” aging at all.
