In Minsk, a 20-year-old Russian was charged with organizing mass protests

In Minsk, a 20-year-old citizen of Russia Yegor Dudnikov was detained and placed in the KGB pre-trial detention center. He is charged with the organization of group actions that grossly violating public order and associated with obvious disobedience the legal requirements of representatives of the authorities or entailing a violation of the work of transport, enterprises, institutions or organizations, or active participation in such actions (part 1 of article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).

Dudnikov moved to Belarus a year ago for the sake of a girl, told his mother ’s human rights center his mother. On May 5, he led the girl home and returned to a rented apartment. He was detained near the house, and a search was held in the apartment, during which one microphone was seized. The Russian was engaged in Belarus by the voice of cartoons, games and commercials.

For two days, relatives and friends knew nothing about Dudnikov. When his mother flew to Minsk, the lawyer on duty said that he was in the KGB pre -trial detention center. “The lawyer is not allowed to go to him and even relatives are not informed of anything. Communication passes only through letters that reach him every other time,” the young man’s mother said.

According to her, Yegor was interrogated and shot on camera. The woman fears that due to pressure in the KGB and with investigative actions without a lawyer, he can "say excess."

Dudnikov was already detained in October 2020, when he stood up for a child whom they wanted to detain. According to his mother, then Yegor "escaped with bruises and nervous stress": he was taken to the hospital after beating by security forces, he "became bad with his heart." According to the article on the organization of protests, Dudnikov threatens up to three years in prison.
