In Moscow, during a meeting of the 2nd Western District Military Court, the prosecutor requested 7 years in prison for Kuban left activist Daria Polyudova in the case of justifying terrorism. This was reported by Network Freedom with reference to lawyer Leonid Solovyov.
Polyudova is accused of two counts of justifying terrorism, including using the Internet (parts 1 and 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code).
One of the episodes is connected with a post on VKontakte about the Chechen field commander Shamil Basayev, the second is with a video on her phone about Yevgeny Manyurov, who started shooting near the FSB building on Lubyanka.
The oppositionist is under arrest; in the pre-trial detention center she went on a hunger strike.
“Mediazona” spoke in detail about the case of Daria Polyudova.
