The Investigative Committee opened a case of cruel treatment of pupils of a Moscow private kindergarten

In Moscow, the Investigative Committee opened a case of child abuse in the Goodwin private kindergarten. This was reported by “Takiye Dela” with reference to the resolution to initiate the case.

According to the document, we are talking about a case of the provision of services that do not meet security requirements (clause “b” of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code).

The case was opened after a complaint from the mother of one of the kindergarten students, Lyudmila Rostovtseva. According to the Muscovite, in January-February, she and her husband noticed that their two-year-old daughter began to cry when she went to kindergarten. The teachers answered questions that “everything is fine,” Rostovtseva claimed .

Later, another kindergarten employee sent two videos to the Muscovite. In the videos, a kindergarten employee hit a student in the head, and then Rostovtseva’s daughter.

According to the publication’s interlocutor, the girl cried “even when she saw the teacher’s photo,” stopped sleeping, began to be afraid of people and pull out her hair.

The criminal case, according to the document, was opened on March 7. According to Rostovtseva, the investigator told her that recordings from surveillance cameras in the institution were confiscated around the same time. When a Muscovite came to watch the video at the Investigative Committee, the assistant investigator assured her that no recording was made. In addition, according to Rostovtseva, a medical examination in the case was scheduled one and a half months after the incident, and a psychological examination two months later.

In total, according to the victim’s mother, 7 out of 30 families filed allegations of child abuse. The majority of parents of the institution’s pupils believe that the initiative group “dissolved the problem out of the blue,” and the video of the beating was edited, Rostovtseva explained.
