The number of Petersburgers with a imposed ban on departure from the country due to unclosed debts from the beginning of 2021 has increased by 42 % and today is 108 thousand people. This was reported by RBC Petersburg with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for St. Petersburg.

Since the beginning of 2021, more than 535 million rubles of debts, including 6.5 million rubles of alimony, have been recovered from debtors, in respect of whom a decision on departure was issued. In September 2020, this number was 4 million. In total, in the first four months of 2021, the bailiffs recovered 14 billion rubles from debtors.

In the period from January to April of this year, the St. Petersburg bailiffs had more than 1.6 million executive documents, of which more than 18 thousand on alimony, 205 thousand on credit debts, more than 139 thousand on utility bills, more than 277 thousand for traffic police.

Earlier it became known that electric scooters in St. Petersburg can start renting a passport. The authorities want to create a "single base of violators."
