28 Gypsies accused in the case of a mass brawl in Chemodanovka went on a hunger strike at a hearing in the Penza Regional Court, Takiye Dela writes with reference to the president of the regional public organization “Sails of Hope”, the Gypsy baron Andrei Arshinovich Ogly.
This happened during a meeting to extend the arrest - the court left the defendants in pre-trial detention until October 6. In response, in addition to going on a hunger strike, they promised to open their veins in the isolation ward. As they left the hall, the gypsies swore and shouted that they could no longer endure the torment.
Previously, the defendants complained of torture and beatings during the investigation and in the pre-trial detention center, but the Investigative Committee refused to initiate a criminal case.
