Searches for the family and associates of Dmitry Gudkov. A criminal case was opened against the politician itself

In Moscow, on June 1, the security forces came to the policy of Dmitry Gudkov. In the morning they searched his cottage, an apartment and the dwelling of his relatives. Also, law enforcement officers came to the former chairman of the Open Russia movement (the organization recognized as undesirable in Russia) to Alexander Solovyov, who was an assistant politician, and to the head of the headquarters of Gudkov Vitaly Venidictov. Investigative actions took place in the case of debts for renting the premises.

Loud searches began after it became known about the detention of the former Coordinator of Open Russia Andrei Pivovarov. On May 31, he was removed directly from the plane, which was preparing for take -off from the St. Petersburg airport Pulkovo. Against Pivovarov, a case of the implementation of an unwanted organization was initiated (284.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Moreover, the case was brought up two days after the “Open Russia” announced the self -dissolution . The reason for the criminal prosecution was the repost of Pivovarov on Facebook.

The next day, the security forces looked at the Moscow opposition. Early in the morning of June 1, law enforcement officers, accompanied by OMON, came with a search to politics to Dmitry Gudkov, the head of his headquarters Vitaly Venidictov and to the ex-chairman of Open Russia Alexander Soloviev.

Searches in the Gudkov family went through several locations at once:

• In the house near Moscow in Kolomna,

• The family has a politician in three apartments,

• In the dwelling of Aunt Gudkov Irina Ermilova

• And in her former office on Solzhenitsyn Street.

“I don't know a formal reason. Real is clear, ”wrote Gudkov in his Telegram channel. According to his father, also the opposition politician and former State Duma deputy Gennady Gudkov, who have passed searches are “reprisals with the whole family and revenge for everything”.

The case was initiated on causing property damage on an especially large scale (paragraph “b” of part 2 of article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - threatens up to five years in prison with a fine in the amount of the income of the convicted person in six months, as well as restriction of freedom for up to two years). The investigation is conducted by the Main Investigation Department of the Moscow Glavka of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We are talking about non -payment to the Department of Urban Property of Moscow "Debt under a lease of non -residential premises in 2015-2017." According to the case materials, the victim in the case takes place of the Department of Urban Property. The metropolitan authorities are the owner of the rented premises.

Gudkov and Ermilov are undergoing suspects in the case. Their defenders reported that they would be detained before the court, which would have to choose a preventive measure. Solovyov and Venidiktov were also interrogated after the search, they go through the case with witnesses. Toward evening, it turned out that in the morning during the interrogation there was also an accountant of the bankrupt company of the Gudkov family Olesya Ludwig.

During the searches, various documentation, technique and means of communication were seized. Gudkov Senior believes that the case can be instituted due to a debt of several million rubles for the basement on the street. Solzhenitsyna. The company renting him, to which Ermilov was related, went bankrupt, the premises in 2017 were returned to Moscow.

According to him, 10 years ago, their company rented a small basement from the city, where they were going to open a small training center. This was the small business of Irina Ermilova. “The company established for these purposes until 2015 regularly paid rent, until it was unilaterally raised three times - on the initiative of the city. After unsuccessful negotiations and correspondence with the city, the company returned the premises, but already repaired and suitable for delivery to the office. During the period of promises to reduce the rental rate and correspondence, there was a debt for rental, which the parties disputed: according to the company's version, this is not more than 2 million rubles, according to the city - almost 2 times more, ”explained Gudkov Senior.

Later, the company by Ermilina, which, as Gudkov noted, did not conduct any economic and financial activities, declared its insolvency and was included in the city in the list of a simplified bankruptcy procedure. The politician insists that this company has nothing to do with the Gudkovs or their former “defeated” business. In March, the security forces, contrary to the trial in bankruptcy, initiated a verification of this issue and received all the necessary explanations and requested documents from Yermilina, Gennady Gudkov said.
