
The famous St. Petersburg restaurant The Repa, located near the Mariinsky Theater - 18 Theater Square, was restarted, representatives of the establishment were told by Paper . The restaurant has updated the interior and the kitchen.
In the new interior, designer Anastasia Khalchitskaya connected the northern minimalism, fabulous imagery and modern forms. At the same time, they preserved the elements of decoration already familiar to guests: autographs of famous theater artists and murals inspired by Andrei Remnev’s painting.
The restaurant’s kitchen was headed by the chief Oleg Perfilov, who worked in Paris for several years: there he studied at the LE Cordon Bleu school and trained with the famous chef Pierre Garnier . Perfilov built the new menu in the neo -North style . Pate from duck liver is served with caviar sturgeon, and duck breast - with mashed potatoes and carrot tactes.
The laconic menu was divided into five sections, it has a little more than 15 dishes. The wine collection was also updated: organics, biodynamics and products of Russian wineries were added to the map. In addition, in the near future in the courtyard they will open a summer terrace.
