
Deputies of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly as a whole adopted amendments to the city law on municipal elections, the Parliamentary press service reports . The bill initiates the opportunity to elect municipal deputies through a three -day vote.
From the proposed amendments it follows that if the municipal elections coincide with the elections to the State Duma, then the decision on a three -day vote will be made by the Central Election Commission. Elections can also be organized in house plots.
The bill obliges to label the campaign materials of candidates recognized by foreign agents or associated with them.
Earlier, St. Petersburg deputies allowed a multi -day vote in the elections to the regional parliament.
