How the admission of foreign fans is regulated

Foreigners will be able to enter Russia without a visa, but according to the passport of the fan and if there is a negative test for coronavirus (it was supposed to be made within three days before entering). This order is valid from May 29 to July 2. In a simplified manner, officials of the tournament and staff will be able to issue entry.

According to the calculations of the authorities of St. Petersburg, each match of Euro 2020 in the city will visit about 8-10 thousand foreign fans. From June 12 to July 2, they (like Russian fans) will be able to ride the subway, shuttle buses, trams No. 19 and No. 48 and all electric trains.

During the championship in St. Petersburg, four fan zones will work: on the stable square, at the Yubileiny SK, in the Nikolsky ranks and in Palace. The first three will open on June 11, the fourth on July 2 (quarterfinals, semi -finals and finals will show there).

The number of visitors on fan zones will be limited to 50% of the maximum capacity. They will be different from each other: a football village with a concert program will work on the stable, the “anniversary” will have a platform for family vacations with a mini-field and football attractions. Only the viewing area will open on the palace - without additional entertainment.

Fan zones will open in nine cities of Russia: Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Sochi, Tula and Ulyanovsk. You can look from the address on the RFU website .

In Moscow, the fan zone will be located in Luzhniki near the southern sports core and will open on June 11. From June 11 to July 11, the retail sale of alcohol is prohibited next to the stable area, the Yubileiny SK and on Palace Square, and during the days of matches and the day before them - at the stadium and next to it;
From June 2 to July 12 in St. Petersburg and the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region there are enhanced security measures, in accordance with which the circulation of civilian and service weapons, the sale of potent and toxic substances, the work of industries using explosives and radioactive substances are limited;
From June 10 to July 3, they will partially limit traffic in the center of St. Petersburg, and on some streets they will be forced to stop;
In the days of matches, you can get to Krestovsky Island only on the pass, which are designed at the MFC of the Petrograd district. The restrictions will be valid all day 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23 and July 2. It will not work to go there by taxi.

How Euro 2020 will pass in other countries and whether fans from Russia will be able to get to matches

Russian fans will be able to attend games only in Budapest and Bucharest. To get there, it is enough to have a ticket for the match and a negative test for coronavirus, in Bucharest, however, in the country it is necessary to stay no more than three days.

In Azerbaijan, they also simplified the entrance for fans, whose teams will play in Baku (Turkey, Great Britain and Switzerland) and reach the quarterfinals. A negative result of the PCR and a ticket for the match will be required. The Russian team can play in Baku if he takes second place in the group and wins in the 1/8 finals match.

It’s not easy to get to the UK: the air traffic is closed, and upon arrival you need to stay in quarantine for 10 days and make two tests on the Covid-19.

Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Denmark are closed to tourists from Russia. A small scandal even came out with the last country: on June 21, the Russian national team plays in Copenhagen, but Denmark authorities refused to let fans to let in. The embassy noted that they consider the championship a tourist event, and tourists are not allowed to come yet.

According to RBC, about 2.5 thousand Russian fans purchased tickets for a game in Copenhagen. The RFU turned to UEFA with a request to resolve the situation.
