The coordinator of Siberia Legal, Dmitry Kamynin, reported that he was beaten by police officers during his arrest. Since February, the human rights activist has been under arrest in a drug case (Article 228 of the Criminal Code). “Sibir.Realii” writes about this
As Kamynin reports in his letter, during the interrogation he said that “during the arrest and during conversations in the offices and corridor, they were brutally beaten, and the leader of the group gave advice on where it was better to beat.”
The detainee also stated that the investigator who interrogated him soon resigned from the authorities, and the new employee, according to the human rights activist, is trying to hide the crime of the security forces.
