Rospotrebnadzor will allow Russians returning from abroad who have completed the vaccination course not to take mandatory PCR tests. The corresponding draft resolution of the chief sanitary doctor is posted on the portal of draft regulations.
In addition to those vaccinated, Russians who have been ill with covid will not be able to take tests. At the same time, vaccinated and recovered people will need to fill out a special form at the State Services after arriving in the country.
The rest of the citizens of the Russian Federation, as before, will have to pass two PCR tests within five days after crossing the border. At the same time, they will now need to be in home isolation until the results of the second test are received, and not the first, as before.
Foreign citizens will still be required to take one test no earlier than 72 hours before entering Russia, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or not.
It is not yet clear when the changes will take effect.
