- In Russia, in early June, the incidence of coronavirus increased sharply, which remained at a stable level of 8-9 thousand detected cases per day throughout May. On June 9, this figure for the first time in three months exceeded 10 thousand, on June 10, 11,699 people were infected, and on June 11, 12,505. In Moscow, the incidence rate increased one and a half times over the month.
- On June 3, the Invasion organizers announced that entry to the festival would only be possible for those who had been vaccinated against the coronavirus or for those who provided a negative PCR test. This decision was sharply criticized in social networks, it was called "discrimination" and "fascism".
