Recall that in the evening of June 10, police from Dagestan and Chechnya broke into a crisis apartment in Makhachkala in search of a Chechen girl Halimat Taramova. According to some reports, Halimat is the daughter of the deputy minister of housing and communal services Chechnya Ayuba Taramov. The girl escaped from home after beating and threats because of her sexual orientation. Together with her friend Anna Manylova from Perm, she wanted to leave for a safe place, and turned to the Russian LGBT network for help.
Halimat Taramova is 22 years old, Anna - 26. “We met her a year ago: she is my closest person, just like me for her,” said Manlova. - Parents forbade her to communicate with me. Her brothers called me, threatened. Her husband called me, wrote voice. We met sometimes, but basically called and corresponded. We are just very close friends ... "
According to Anna, she decided to come to Makhachkala after the Halimat could not get in touch with her for a long time.
“She sat for six months without communication,” the girl continues. - She was surviving: she took her passport in the RUVD of her area. They threatened her father and threatened her. She constantly encountered domestic violence by her husband, from her parents. When we met with her, everything was fine. I arrived in Grozny, and then we went towards Makhachkala. We had no choice at all. I could not leave my friend to die, we had to try to do something. ”
In a crisis apartment in Makhachkala, the girls were on June 4, and, according to Anna, all this time did not feel safe. This is how Manlova describes the events on June 10, when security forces came to the apartment:
“Employees broke in the evening, everyone who lived in this apartment twisted, pulled out into the street, and Khalimu and I ran away to the balcony. And when her father came in, we threatened that we would jump. My friend was ready for this, because it is better for her to jump than to get back to Chechnya. This is the worst thing for her. The rest of the girls were immediately taken out.
I do not know what happened to them - there were terrible cries. We thought they were being cut there. ”
“After everyone was taken out of the apartment, we got off the balcony. We went out on their own with a young man - he introduced himself to us a neighbor and promised us to bring us out. As a result, he also turned out to be a Chechen. He drove us to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Leninsky district of Makhachkala, where we talked with them for several hours, they promised us protection, promised us to take us out, but not to Chechnya. As a result, as soon as we were taken to the yard, a crowd of Chechens in jeeps was waiting for us there. Her ( Halimat. - E.A. ) dragged on the asphalt by force, she resisted, I could not help her.
After the Halimat was put in a car and taken away, Anna herself was released from the department without explanation.
“I don’t know what saved me, they just left me,” the girl admits. - I tried to write a statement [to the police], but I was put on the street. Where they took Halim, they did not tell me. But
The numbers [of the car] were Chechen, and there were Chechens there, it was obvious where they went. "
According to Ksenia Mikhailova’s lawyer, LGBT networks, the organization’s lawyers have already filed a police on the abduction of Halimat Taramova, now the LGBT network is preparing an ECHR in 39 rule , demanding that the Russian authorities immediately notify the location of the girl. Anna Manlov was taken to a safe place.
“I want the Halimat to be taken out of Chechnya. The most important thing is to come out alive, ”says Anna. - In Chechnya, terrible things are taking place with people like her. They don’t talk there, they kill there. ”
