My lawyer Vladimir Voronin was just not allowed into the case against me under Article 239 of the Criminal Code. We will seek his participation in court.”

On June 9, the Moscow City Court recognized FBK and the headquarters of Alexei Navalny as extremist organizations and liquidated them. According to the prosecutor’s office, FBK “under the guise of liberal slogans is engaged in creating conditions for destabilizing the social and socio-political situation.” In connection with the court decision, FBK and Navalny’s headquarters are prohibited from disseminating any information, receiving donations, organizing events and participating in elections.

In February, the Investigative Committee put the former head of Navalny’s headquarters, Leonid Volkov, on the interstate wanted list.
