In the photo about one hundred and fifty killed geese, cranes, ducks, drakes. The incident enhanced local residents, they left dozens of angry comments under the posts with a hunter’s photograph: “Plaw’s disgraced. Our people, and, I think, many others have a rule: do not take more from nature than necessary and what you took - use without a trace. Otherwise, nature will take revenge. ” "Our children after these will only go to virtual hunting."

The police, on behalf of the prosecutor of the Chukchi Autonomous Okrug, Konstantin Prokhorov, began a check on the fact of illegal hunting (Article 258 of the Criminal Code). But a person with a photo has not yet been found.

Employees of the Anadyr Ministry of Internal Affairs refuse to let me go to the police department and comment on the results of the audit. They say that only a specially trained person from the press service, Evgeny Smyshlyaev can give information to reporters. But he, unfortunately, is on sick leave. On the sick leave to such an extent that for two weeks his phone is turned off and he does not respond to a written request to contact me.

By law, each hunter should receive permission to shoot game in the regional huntingazer at the beginning of the season. Hunting licenses have been issued since the beginning of March, the duty is 650 rubles, each hunter can only receive one permit.

The season of hunting for waterfowl on Chukotka opened on May 15 and lasted ten days.

Hunting standards are strict: during the season you can shoot only two Canadian cranes; The drakes and ducks are allowed to get five per day. The goose is one bird a day, but no more than five for the whole season. These rules do not concern representatives of the indigenous northern peoples leading a traditional lifestyle, they can be hunted without restrictions.

Legally kill as many birds as it is posted in the photo, in just five days from the beginning of the hunting season, it was possible in two ways:

Either being a representative of the indigenous people of Chukotka, or if more than fifteen people were hunted, and one was photographed.

Anadyr hunter Maxim Khokhlov comments: “Locals do not hunt like that. Only a visiting person could do this. The Chukchi respect their nature, they do not take any more necessary. They will not take it, even if there is a mining rate when they consider hunting dishonest. Now, in the offseason, Belukhas fall into the ice wormwood. Due to the melting and movement of ice, they find themselves in an ice trap, as in a closed pool. There is a permitted quota of boot production, but the Chukchi will not go to kill an animal that is unable to hide. This is wrong. Although now in remote areas it is very bad with the delivery of food, because there is no navigation yet, and the winter road has already melted and it is very difficult to get there. ”

Local hunters and inspectors were able to determine that a photo with killed birds was taken in the region of the third river, the border of the Autatkuul natural reserve is held along it. This is about eighty kilometers from Anadyr. Now you can get there only on a boat on an air pillow. Any other technique will drown because the rivers are opened, the tundra is flooded. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were able to get into the place on May 27 and gathered several bags of circumcised bird wings. Hunters took the bodies of birds with them. The edges of the wings are not eaten, they are cut off, so that it is easier to pack the carcasses. Employees of the hunting daze will have to determine whether there are red -knitted ones among the killed birds, this can be done by studying the plumage.

It was difficult to assume that more than fifteen people hunted and birds to eat. Hunting for waterfalling game is carried out from shelters (strokes), they are either built from snow, or folding are brought with them. So that the hunters do not accidentally shoot each other, the seats are placed with a gap of more than a hundred meters. To arrange a company of fifteen hunters, you will need to stretch the chain by one and a half kilometers, such a hunt is ineffective, and is difficult to organize.

The Anadyr hunting diesel officer Denis Litovka explains: “The motivation [of this] hunter is quite simple: to boast. The game in such quantities is not extracted for food. To eat a goose, you still need to pluck it. Introduced, plucking one hundred and fifty birds? In the hands of this hunter in the photo, Benelli or Beretta gun, it costs more than two hundred thousand rubles.

He clearly has something to eat. Such people hunt for show -offs.

On the dates of the start of the hunting season at Anadyr Airport, a charter plane from the Magadan region landed, he flew back shortly after the photo inscription from corpses in the social network hit. It is impossible to sell or even distribute so many killed geese in Anadyr unnoticed. The city is small, everyone knows each other.

A resident of Anadyr Elena Chursina , a daughter and a hunter's wife, comments: “This is a shame. There are no small problems on Chukotka. A large official is removed for a cut tree. The view from the window, you see, closed it. Everything is very small here and therefore everything is very valuable: grass, and trees, and even more so animals. Locals know each other, especially hunters. Nobody recognized him from ours. He, most likely, is a visiting one, and, most likely, some kind of bump, they cover. The gun is very expensive. Where can you put so many birds? In Anadyr, no one will buy this or for nothing to take. Well, they bring one or two carcasses from hunting, lying around in the freezer. If they did not leave them in place, then they took them out. And now it is possible to take out in the offseason now only by plane. ”

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet published the results of the audit. The response was also not received to the editorial office (at the time of publication of this text). If the guilty hunter finds a lifelong lifting license, a fine of a million rubles or imprisonment for a term of three to five years can be guilty.
