“We discussed the situation with the workers: can we dismiss them if they refuse to be vaccinated. We received a comment that we can dismiss without a salary and we [entrepreneurs] will not be punished because of the epidemiological situation,” he said after a meeting with the city authorities.
Earlier, the authorities of the Moscow region announced that they would disconnect taxi and bus drivers from orders if they had not been vaccinated against the coronavirus. Whether the driver has been vaccinated will be checked by the traffic police at checkpoints.
On the eve of the authorities of Moscow and the Moscow region introduced mandatory vaccination for service workers: the heads of organizations must ensure that 60% of employees are vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine by July 15, and by August 15 with the second. Companies that fail to vaccinate employees face a fine of 50,000 to a million rubles or suspension of activities for up to three months.
